Dr.Azzam Shaath

He holds a PhD and MA degrees in Public Law and Political Science. He previously worked as a lecturer at Al-Quds Open University in Gaza, and as a researcher at the Palestinian Center for Human Rights. He is the author of several books, including: The Challenges of Democratic Transformation in the Palestinian Political System, and The Orientations of the Palestinian Political Elite towards the Arab-Israeli Conflict.

He has studies in peer-reviewed scientific journals and research papers published in Palestine, Egypt, the UAE, Lebanon, Morocco and Yemen, specialized reports on the issue of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and human rights issues, working papers presented at local and international conferences, and periodic analytical articles in the Palestinian and Arab press.

He participated in training courses and presented lectures on political science, international human rights law and international humanitarian law.
