South24 Center for News and Studies
South24 Center For News and Studies is an independent media and research institution which has
sought, since founded in
September 2019 "in Switzerland", to provide instant and comprehensive coverage for most prominent
news, political and
strategic opinions, studies and researches produced locally, regionally and internationally that
address issues and
files related to South Yemen.
Moreover, South24’s coverage includes those issues relevant with the strategic conflicts of the
Arab Peninsula, the
Middle East and the Horn of Africa.
South24 adopts high-accuracy criteria as well as a professional journalistic approach that relies
upon trusted sources,
influential views, strategic studies and opinions provided by a group of experts and specialists.
We aim at examining
and checking all narrations and views related to the situation in South Yemen, as well as
presenting a deep, objective,
coherent and accurate approach. Thus, we could reveal the secrets and the backstages of events,
situations and
developments as well as solving its surrounding complexities. This makes it easier for the local
and external decision
makers and all interested parties to enjoy comprehensive and accurate detailed coverage.
Accordingly, within a short period, “South24” has been able to develop the quantity and the
quality of its media and
research products to become one of the reliable sources on all the events and developments in
South Yemen. In order to
constantly retain such an end, “South24” seeks for making more improvement and development, as
well as providing the
readers with new media material and comprehensive research projects.
Furthermore, after opening its Aden’s Office, South24 seeks for effectively contribute in raising
the efficiency of
local cadres with regard to the production of professional media materials, in addition to
preparing competent
researchers through training courses in partnership with local and international institutions, and
providing them with
opportunities to enhance and develop their theoretical knowledge and practical experience.
South24 Center for News and Studies is formally licensed by the Swiss authorities, according to the laws of non-profit organizations in Switzerland, No. (CHE-466.313.874), and the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor in Yemen, Aden, License No. (560).
