South24 Center for News and Studies is an independent, non-profit media and research institution established in September 2019 in Switzerland. With a clear vision, the center provides timely and comprehensive coverage of major political and strategic events, alongside conducting research and studies addressing issues concerning South Yemen and Yemen as a whole. South24 strives to serve as a trusted platform and unique reference point for following Yemen’s complex issues.

The center’s influence extends to addressing strategic conflicts in the Arabian Peninsula, the Middle East, and the Horn of Africa. South24 Center adheres to strict standards and follows a rigorous journalistic approach, relying on credible sources and impactful analyses provided by a group of distinguished local and international experts. The team meticulously examines and analyzes various narratives and opinions related to Yemeni affairs, aiming to offer a balanced, in-depth perspective that aligns with the center’s values and journalistic and research principles. Since the opening of its regional office in Aden in February 2022, South24 Center has rapidly advanced its media and research tools, positioning itself as one of the most reliable sources for events and developments in South Yemen. The center remains committed to continuous improvement to maintain the highest quality standards in its output.

South24 Center’s diverse products include in-depth research, analytical studies, urgent reports, and visual content such as infographics and videographics, alongside producing documentaries and conducting opinion polls. The center actively promotes intellectual discourse through seminars, conferences, and live discussions, and offers specialized training programs aimed at enhancing journalistic and research capacities, while ensuring professional safety for those working in the field.

Over the past two years, South24 Center has implemented various projects focused on advocacy, women’s rights, and climate change across several southern Yemeni provinces, in collaboration with both local and international organizations. Additionally, the center has established strategic partnerships with esteemed institutions worldwide, further strengthening its regional and international role.

South24 Center is officially licensed under Swiss non-profit organization laws (CHE-466.313.874) and by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor in Aden, Yemen (License No. 560).
