«South24» and the «Knowledge» Centers Agree to Develop Research Activities

Today, South24 Center for News and Studies and the Knowledge Center for Strategy Researches and Studies signed a memorandum of understanding in the Southern city of Aden as part of their efforts to enhance and expand research and press activities.

The memorandum, signed by Jacob Al-Sufyani, Director of "South24" Aden Office and Dr. Omar Bajardana, Chairman of the Knowledge Center, intends to exchange research and press experiences between the two centers and implement joint projects to build and develop the skills of men and women researchers and journalists.

The two parties agreed to work together to develop research activities as well as enhance the coordination in a way that helps to enrich this sector which still has limited capabilities in the Southern regions. 

"South24" was established in September 2019 in Switzerland. Its regional office is located in Aden. 

"South24" previously signed a number of memorandums and cooperation agreements with local and foreign organizations.  The center has both Arabic and English departments which include news and research activities. 

For its part, the Knowledge Center is active in Hadramout. Over recent months, it organized a number of events as well as training and interactive courses.
