The UN truce between the warring parties in Yemen has entered its second month, amid mutual accusations of violating the truce militarily on a number of fronts.

In a statement, the Joint Forces on the West Coast of Yemen said today that the Houthis carried out 15 military violations during the past 24 hours.

In the northern Al-Dhalea front, South Yemen, the Southern Forces said, on Sunday, that the Houthis launched artillery shelling targeting citizens houses in Hajar district.

The Southern Forces accused the Houthis of committing 480 military violations of the truce during the month of April on Al-Dhalea fronts which included the killing of two civilians by snipers shots.

Local media also reported that today a Houthi drone attack targeted Al-Qiyadah street in the city of Taiz.

According to "Xinhua", 5 pro-government security soldiers were injured in the attack which took place near "Garden City" children's park.

On the other hand, the Houthis announced today the interception of a Chinese-made spy plane belonging to Saudi Arabia in the airspace of Haradh district, Hajjah governorate, North Yemen.

On April 24, the Iranian-backed Houthis accused the Yemeni government of obstructing the first commercial flight from Sanaa International Airport to Amman, Jordan.

In response, the Yemeni Minister of Information said that the Houthis attempted to board (60) passengers on the flight with unreliable passports issued in the Houthi-controlled Sanaa.

In mid-April, the UN Envoy to Yemen Hans Grundberg expressed his concern over the frequent reports of military operations in Yemen, especially on the outskirts of Marib.

Clashes erupted in the first week of the truce between the Houthis and pro-government forces near Marib, Yemeni government last stronghold in North Yemen.

Grundberg also called on the parties to reduce the escalation in order to succeed the truce which will end by June.
