Aden: Dead Bodies Found in a House of a Wanted Security Commander

Today, the security services in the capital city Aden announced that they had found dead bodies of soldiers in the house of a wanted security commander in Dar Saad district, north of the city.

The district police said that they found 3 bodies of soldiers who were killed and their bodies were hidden in the house of the commander of the Yemeni Transport Brigade, Brigadier General Amjad Khaled.

According to the statement, two of the bodies are believed to belong to members of the Lahj governorate police who were kidnapped by the Yemeni Transport Brigade in 2019.

The statement pointed out that a team of Public Prosecution, forensic medicine and technicians arrived at the scene of the incidence. The police said that an investigation with one of the accused led to the cemetery.

Amjad Khaled is a top military commander affiliate with the Yemen's Islah Party and Northern General Ali Mohsen Al-Ahmar. He is designated in Aden's security list of terrorists.

Amjad Khaled was accused of funding and carrying out terrorist operations in Aden, targeting military and security commanders as well as civilians. Despite this, Amjad previously denied his connection to these terrorist operation.

Despite the demands to hand him over to justice, Amjad Khaled is still the commander of the Transportation Brigade that he currently leads from the city of Turbah in Taiz governorate.
