Aden (South24) 

Units of the anti-terrorism force, in coordination with the security departments of Aden and Lahj governorates, raided, on Saturday, an explosive devices manufacturing factory, in Al-Basateen, Dar Saad district.

A statement issued by the Lahj Security Department stated that the factory was the home of a wanted criminal in the directorate that is administratively affiliated to Aden Governorate.

A senior security source confirmed to "South24" that the operation carried out by the anti-terrorism forces came after monitoring and tracking of suspicious and wanted elements, and full coordination between the various security services.

The anti-terrorism forces are highly efficient Southern security units that have made great achievements in combating extremist organizations in the Southern governorates, especially Aden, for years.

On May 29, STC President, Major General Aidrous Al-Zubaidi, issued a decision appointing Major General Shallal Shaye, the former director of Aden security, as commander-in-chief of these forces which are supported by the UAE.
