Yesterday, the Iranian-backed Houthi militia organized a new military parade on the border of South Yemen, in the presence of their senior officials.

The Seventh Military District held a military parade for the Houthi forces in the Al-Bayda governorate, according to news agency Saba.

The parade, which marked the anniversary of the October 14 Revolution, featured the display of missiles, drones, tanks, artillery, and armored vehicles.

In attendance were Mahdi Al-Mashat, the head of the Houthi Political Council, and Mohammed Al-Atefi, the Houthi Defense Minister.

Al-Atefi reiterated the Houthis' readiness to resume the war in Yemen and take up arms against Israel on behalf of the Palestinian factions.

The parade coincided with the 60th anniversary of the October 14 Revolution against British colonialism, with popular celebrations taking place in Aden and other major cities in South Yemen simultaneously.

Al-Bayda Governorate neighbors the governorates of Lahj, Abyan, and Shabwa in South Yemen. The Houthis gained full control of it in September 2021.

Al-Bayda serves as a major launchpad for Houthi attacks against Southern forces in those governorates. AQAP attacks are also prominent there.
