Farida Ahmed

Executive Director of South24 Center for News and Studies, researcher and journalist in political affairs. Holds a BA degree in Business Administration from the University of Aden and a Higher Diploma in Political Science from the Institute of Arab Research and Studies in Cairo. Currently a Master's student in Political Science.

Farida worked as an independent journalist since 2006 with multiple media agencies in writing and editing news, and presenting and producing televised reports. She worked on various researches and studies related to political affairs in the Middle East, especially Yemen. She also presented many projects related to development and youth to various bodies, and participated in many training courses and workshops related to development, peace and women's rights in Yemen.
