On Sunday, the operations of Aden International Airport were restarted, four days after the missile attack that targeted the airport, while the southerners renewed their demand for the coalition to secure Aden's airspace.
Minister of Interior Maj. General Ebrahim Haidan along with Aden Governor Ahmed Lamlas re-launched Aden airport operations Sunday, according to Sabaa.
Haidan and Lamlas welcomed the first air flight operated by the Yemenia Airways Company coming from the Republic of Sudan.
"The airport was quickly re-operated to serve as a message that the government is determined to get rid of all difficulties and obstructions created by the terrorist operation", said Haidan.
The Minister of Transport, Abd al-Salam Hamid, and Minister of International Planning, Wa'ed Badeeb, participated in the inauguration of the re-operation of the airport.

Aden International Airport had been subjected to three missile attacks, killing 25 people and wounding more than 100 others.

The parity government and the Southern Transitional Council (STC) accused the Houthi militia, backed by Iran, of being behind the attack.
STC renewed its demand for the Saudi-led coalition to secure the airspace of Aden city, to prevent a recurrence of these events in the future.
"The attack on Aden airport would not deter the Council from continuing to implement the Riyadh Agreement", said the official website of STC , about a meeting of the STC Presidium in Aden,on Sunday.

The new parity government was formed between North and South, according to the Riyadh Agreement, which was signed by the Transitional Council and the Yemeni government, on November 5, 2019, in Riyadh, under the auspices of Saudi Arabia.
