The Southern security forces announced earlier today that they had arrested a man suspected of being affiliated with ISIS, in the Al-Buraiqa district, east of the capital, Aden.

The Southern forces issued a statement reporting that the man the Security Belt Forces arrested has the initials S.A.A., and is accused of having connections to ISIS and participating in terrorist operations.

"Intelligence information had monitored the accused's return to the capital, Aden, after he fled there several years ago," the statement added.

The statement indicated that the suspect had been transferred to the relevant legal authorities to complete their investigation and administer justice.

Earlier this year, on May 26th, the Southern forces arrested an ISIS terrorist cell, consisting of seven members, in the Yafa district of Lahj Governorate.
